What type of radiators do you have?

We have both hydronic and electric radiator models. In the hydronic lineup, we have several different brands that are made up of different material types and models.

What is the difference between electric and hot water radiators?

An electric radiator works off of electricity and our electric radiators require a 220-volt electrical connection. Hydronic radiators are installed on an existing hot water system.

Which radiator is best for my home?

The choice of radiator depends on the system you have and your goal. Hot water radiators have proven to be more efficient in terms of energy output. That said, our electric radiators have a special technology that makes them similar to traditional hot water radiators in terms of comfort and efficiency. Our heating specialists would be happy to help you find the perfect radiator for you.

Do your radiators come with a guarantee?

Yes. There are different guarantees depending on the radiator. Our cast iron radiators hold a 2-year guarantee, and our Myson radiators hold a 10-year guarantee. Check out our Brands page for detailed warranty information.

Do I need to order anything alongside the radiator?

Generally, you do not need to order anything other than the radiator. Although, depending on the model and installation, certain accessories may be required or recommended (i.e. brackets, valves etc.). Depending on the model, certain pieces, such as an air vent, may need to be ordered. Fittings required for the installation are usually provided by the installer. Our experts can advise you should you have any questions about additional accessories.

How do you install electric radiators?

Electricians are required to install radiators. You also need to have a 220-volt wire with correct amperage available.

Where should I install my electric radiator?

Electric radiators should be installed in each room in order to heat the respective areas. They can be installed on any wall as long as spacing is respected (i.e 4 inches from the floor). Traditionally, radiators are installed under windows and/or exterior walls.

Is there anywhere I shouldn’t install a radiator?

Yes. You should not install an electric radiator in proximity to exposed water, or behind curtains or coverings. Depending on the model, there may be restrictions on how and where to mount the radiators. The hydronic radiators (depending on the model) should not be covered or encased.

Can I use electric radiators to heat my hallway?

You can use electric radiators to heat your hallways as long as spacing and capacity are respected.
