Product Information

The boilerwize (FPC-1000) (LESS PROBE) is a versatile Low Water Cut-Off (LWCO) that can be field configured for 24V, 120V, automatic, or manual operation, suitable for both steam and hot water boilers. Utilizing patented technology, this probe-type LWCO offers reliable protection against low water conditions and can serve as either a primary or secondary safety device in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Its self-cleaning probe reduces scale build-up and extends maintenance intervals; and, the brass-threaded metal-to-metal seal ensures a leak-free installation. Additionally, the unit’s wrench flats, accessible wiring, and redesigned enclosure simplifies installation for any hydronic system!

Part Number: 144704

Model: FPC-1000

How it works:

The FPC-1000 uses patented technology to monitor changes in water conductivity. When defined parameters are exceeded, the device makes a decision to turn off the burner based on the volatility/variability of the resistance readings. This patented technology provides the best protection possible without turning off the burner unless low water condition exists. As an added measure of safety, the control will turn off the burner if it recognizes an out-of-water condition when the sensitivity threshold is exceeded.
