Heavy Wall Red Line

As well as the technical benefits of regular Heavy Wall Gage Glass, Heavy Wall Red Line Gage Glass incorporates a red line that enhances visibility and improves the monitoring of liquid levels from a distance.

CHARACTERISTICS

Heavy Wall gage glass delivers exceptional thermal, chemical and hydrolytic resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications, including crude oil or high pressure water or gas flow. The integration of Red Line technology produces a unique optical effect that makes the liquid levels or gas flow easier to determine at a distance. Benefitting from a precise carborundum saw cut finish, this variant is available in 5/8 and ½ inch diameters in lengths between 12-24 inches.

Tanks and reservoirs

Often referred to as sight glass, Tubular Gage Glass plays an essential role in tanks and reservoirs, offering a simple and efficient way to view liquid levels. Fitting between the upper and lower gage glass valves, the Red Line variant features a red line shaded with white lines to make levels easier to measure.

High and low pressure boilers

The outstanding thermal endurance of SCHOTT Tubular Gage Glasses, along with their strong transparency and reliable performance at high temperatures, make them ideal for liquid measurement in boilers. Molded into transparent tubes, rods, cylinders, or oil cups, our gage glasses enable the operators of high or low pressure boilers to safely and accurately observe the levels inside the appliance.
