Available in sizes 1/2", 3/4", 1" HC, 1-1/2", and 2". The Spirax / Sarco FT-14 1/2", 3/4" and 1" HC are constructed with a ductile iron body and the 1-1/2" and 2" models have a cast iron body. All sizes are constructed with Stainless Steel internals. Options available for the FT-14 only is a combination (C) Air Vent and SLR (steam lock release). Pressures available in this series are 65 psig, 145 psig and 200 psig.

The FT14 features rugged cast iron (1") or ductile iron (1-1/2" and 2") construction for pressures up to 200 psig. The convenient in-line connections allow for servicing of all trap internals without removing the trap from the pipeline. The stainless steel air vent, float, and valve eliminate air binding, resist corrosion and allow for continuous drainage of condensate.

The Spirax/Sarco FT14 Steam trap contains a float valve mechanism which modulates to discharge condensate continuously at steam temperature, while non-condensable gases are released by a separate internal balanced pressure thermostatic air vent. Typical applications for the Spirax Sarco FT14 are all process equipment, particularly when controlled by modulating temperature control valves; also for unit heaters, air heating coils, heat exchangers and steam main drip stations.
