3/4 NPT FT-15 Float & Thermostatic Steam Trap, Cast Iron, Parallel Pipe Connections

The Spirax Sarco float and thermostatic (F&T) steam trap, model FT-15, features a 3/4" trap connection in a same side parallel configuration. This pattern allows steam to enter from one side of the trap, and the condensate to discharge from the same side of the trap. FT Series F&T traps are continuous drainage and are designed for low, medium, and high pressure steam mains and come standard with stainless steel internal parts. The FT-15 is cast iron and has a 15 psi maximum operating pressure.

They are recommended for modulating pressures where widely varying loads are present and are a good choice for their ability to vent air at very low pressures, handle start up air loads, and operate against back pressure.
